Welcome to MojoMom.com
... the community that values you as a dynamic individual
as well as a Mom. MojoMom.com is about creativity, connectivity,
and action. My
mission is to provide support and inspiration to help each woman
answer the question, "Who am I, now that I am a Mom?"
Motherhood is a catalyst for transformation
Life is a lot more complex and interesting than any oversimplified
idea of “Opting Out” or “Mommy Wars” that
you read about so often these days. I encourage each woman to continue
developing her own interests and goals throughout life, shaping
a career path over the long run that takes her family’s needs
and personal seasons of leadership into account. One thing is certain:
the world needs the full range of talents that Moms have to offer!
Set your Mojo into action!
The
next step of evolution for MojoMom.com is to provide new resources
for “Naptime Activists,” mothers who are finding time
in their busy lives to work for social change. Our generation
of mothers is empowered by feminism, politicized by motherhood,
and connected by the internet. It’s time we harness
the incredible brainpower and passion we have to offer. The
ability to network online creates new opportunities for mothers
to join forces to work for social change.
MojoMom.com is partnering with MomsRising.org to
create new “on ramps” for budding activists. You
can download the new Naptime Activist edition of The
Mojo Mom Party Kit to find out how to channel your mojo into
action. |

My award-winning book Mojo Mom: Nurturing
Your Self While Raising a Family is the “missing
manual to motherhood” that will help you discover
who you are, and how you can continue to share your talents
with the world, even as you juggle the busy demands of
family life.
Tell me more about the book. |

What is Mojo? Mommy Mojo is the feeling
you get when you are at the top of your game, juggling
the many facets of your life, making sure that your
own needs are included in your family's priorities.
Mommy Mojo is the joyous feeling of becoming yourself
and liking that person. It is the ability to speak,
be heard, and make a difference in the world. It is
power, it is being a force to be reckoned with. It
is knowing that even if the rest of the world doesn't
always realize how amazing you are, you can move through
it like a secret agent, armed with the confidence that
your plans will succeed on your own terms.
